CLEAN-FLO Lake Cleanser III, under field conditions, has been found to be effective in removing or locking up phosphates and suspended particles from lakes, ponds, water reservoirs and waste treatment lagoons. Lake Cleanser III is an inorganic cationic polymer that readily forms soluble or insoluble complexes with many anionic materials, including phosphates. It is a stable, relatively inert compound.

WHAT IS LAKE CLEANSER III USED FOR AND HOW DOES IT WORK:

REDUCES PHOSPHORUS, ORGANIC AND INORGANIC SUSPENDED SOLIDS: When Lake Cleanser III is added to water, the water clears of suspended solids, settling the solids to the bottom.

IMPROVE WATER CLARITY: Lake Cleanser III attaches itself to both organic and inorganic particles that are suspended in the water. Once attached, these particles become heavier and will drop to the bottom. By removing these suspended particles, crystal clear water can often be achieved, but fish or other turbulence-creating entities may sometimes re-suspend it.

UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS WILL LAKE CLEANSER III WORK: Lake Cleanser III will work in ponds, lakes, water reservoirs and sewage treatment lagoons. The effects will be longer lasting with water that is properly aerated by either natural or artificial means.

APPLICATION RATE: Lake Cleanser III is normally used at 5 gallons per acre foot of water. This rate can vary according to the amount of suspended materials and nutrients in the water.

HOW IS IT APPLIED: Lake Cleanser III is a water soluble liquid that can be applied by either spraying or pouring evenly over the surface of the water. Use a sprayer if the water is not aerated and simply pour in if the water is circulated by aeration or other means.
