PeneCore TM – erosion reduction

PeneCoreTM was developed as an economical way to reduce the amount of erosion in a watershed, and thus reduce the amount of sediment accumulation in a water body. This product is an environment friendly enzyme based soil additive. This inexpensive product softens the soil in the watershed so the rain can soak into the ground instead of scouring the soil down into the lake. It can be used to prevent erosion of clay from watersheds into lakes, streams and rivers. It has been used successfully along highways to prevent erosion of road banks.

PenecoreTM changes the electronic charge on the soil to make the soil more permeable so that water penetrates the soil. PeneCoreTMalso works in sandy soils, where it improves the water retention of sand so it does not dry so quickly. Farmers use PeneCoreTM to soften the ground to allow greater root development and greater nutrient uptake by the plants. PeneCoreTM reduces runoff of fertilizers and pesticides into streams, lakes and rivers.

PeneCoreTM enables vegetation to root in the soil and trap any eroded soil particles in the runoff water. Grasses are excellent plants for trapping any silt carried in the surface water. Once the soil is sprayed with PeneCoreTM, trees, shrubs, flowers and grasses should be planted.

PeneCoreTM can be sprayed on the surrounding watershed at a rate of only eight ounces per acre. One gallon will treat sixteen acres.
