CAPE MAY POINT — Borough commission passed a bond ordinance May 10 appropriating $15,000 to fund a Clean-Flo system to aerate Lily Lake, as much of the lake’s surface is covered in algae. Public Works Commissioner Joe Nietubicz said platforms have been installed for the units. As soon as electrical connections receive an inspection, Clean-Flo will install the systems, he said. Nietubicz said a Clean Flo system installed in a lake in Pennsylvania, cleaned up the body of water in 48 hours.
